Into the woods
Into the woods
one day i'll go
to search for one
lost long ago
into the woods
perchance to meet
a woodland nymph
in posies wreath
into the woods
my fancy roam
never to know
of lovers' woe
into the woods
i now must go
to seek amends
for Eden's end

...is anyone there?
Dear gem,
Hope seems so elusive as of late. Why is the past more real than the present? I am trying, really I am. I have to wait, I have to hope, I have to believe. Give me the strength to hold on, give me the courage to let go, pray that I will know the difference.
Take my hand, let us skip and hop our way into the future. No more regrets my own, no more tears. Please forgive me. Help me forgive foolish dreamers who built such a beautiful country, but they built on sand and the sea had long washed it away. Leaving me standing on my own - the dream keeper, waiting for their return. For how long? Do you have any answer? Soon the sea will come and wash me away. Then I too shall fade. I love you, that much will always be true and real for all the seasons of the sea.

...to winged thoughts and a broken heart
though only rage can set my voice free
only forgiveness can give it wings
that it may rise unfettered and unashamed
part of me, yet distinct and alive
to possibilities beyond this mortal flesh
a kiss in the forehead and a long lost hug
go with the blessing of a broken heart
go with the hope of a smoldering wick
go with the love of a bruised reed....

morituri te salutant
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
blessed be the name of the Lord!
- Job 1:21
and so i shall embrace hatred with tenderness
for nurturing my hate with compassion will let it grow in forgiveness
then one day in fields of green the lark shall sing
blessed be the name of the Lord!
- Job 1:21
and so i shall embrace hatred with tenderness
for nurturing my hate with compassion will let it grow in forgiveness
then one day in fields of green the lark shall sing
